Reclaiming my OoT: How Gaming Saved Me from Compassion Fatigue

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

What is compassion fatigue? How can we perform self-care through video games and gaming communities? We explore trauma-informed self-care while navigating social justice movements and current events. Our focus isn’t the sociopolitical events that influence and effect us, but rather our proximity to them, and how video gaming can be used as a form of self-care while enduring these traumatic events. We'll also discuss how our intersecting identities might challenge the way we interact with video games. Join us in a healing, transformative space, in aspiring allyship with underserved communities.
